More than 3000 balls were lobbed onto the court last weekend for the UNICEF NZ Heineken Open Tennis Championships fundraiser.
UNICEF Ambassador and MTV host Jay Reeve (pictured) and a host of UNICEF volunteers were on hand to help out at the event held during a break in the men’s open, won by Argentine player Juan Martin Del Potro, who recently won his Round two Australian Tennis Open match.
Kiwis at the Heineken Open Tennis Championships fundraiser helped collect a cool $3 300 for the UN Children’s Fund.
