LGBTQ+ communities across New South Wales have been strengthened by individuals and organizations that advocate for inclusion, equality, health, and community wellbeing. Recognizing these contributions provides an opportunity to celebrate the people whose leadership and dedication have helped create more supportive and inclusive communities.
ACON has been supporting LGBTQ+ communities in New South Wales for decades, working across health, wellbeing, advocacy, and community initiatives. The Honour Awards 2026 will take place on Thursday, 8 October 2026, at 6:00 PM at Paddington Town Hall in Sydney.
Since 2007, the Honour Awards have recognized outstanding leadership, achievements, and contributions to LGBTQ+ communities across NSW. The annual event provides an opportunity to celebrate the people and organizations making a meaningful difference within the community.
The 2026 celebration will bring together members, supporters, advocates, and community leaders to recognize the achievements of NSW’s rainbow communities and the individuals who continue to contribute to their strength and visibility. More than simply an awards ceremony, Honour is an opportunity to acknowledge the dedication, leadership, and community spirit that help build a more inclusive future.
Reserve your place here to celebrate the 2026 Honour Awards and recognize the outstanding LGBTQ+ community leaders and contributors across New South Wales.
