Charity Fundraiser to add Braille labeling for Blind and Visually Impaired People

The Joshua Project Foundation would be honored to have you share in a very special evening. This inaugural fundraiser on August 2, 2013 will benefit their mission to help bring awareness to the necessity of Braille literacy, beginning by placing Braille labels in grocery stores. The evening will include live entertainment, special guests, an exciting live auction, a variety of fun silent auction items, delicious cuisine and more!The historic Palm Restaurant will be hosting select beer, wine, and an assortment of fine foods to delight you through the evening. A cash bar will be available for cocktails as well.In addition to the evening’s program, we are offering a unique dining option. For one night only, you can experience a stimulating dining experience through the eyes of the blind. Limited to your other heightened senses, you will be treated to a two-course dinner in the dark. Take advantage of this opportunity by adding the $50 Dining in the Dark experience to any of the donation options. *This pre-set menu will be handcrafted by Palm Restaurant Executive Chef, Anthony J. Cotroneo.
