Are you familiar with the lyrics written above? It’s from the Tony Award-winning musical Into the Woods, which tells the story of the intertwined fates of a baker and his wife, a witch, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk and Rapunzel. On March 7-9, The Butterfly Guild of Nationwide Children’s Hospital will be presenting their version of this epic fantasy tale at the Palace Theatre, Ohio. It will surely be an enchanting evening full of beautiful music and captivating storytelling for a good cause. Proceeds from this event will go to Nationwide Children’s Hospital who “is committed to best outcomes and health equity for all children, ensuring every child has access to the best care regardless of their ability to pay.”

The Butterfly Guild of Nationwide Children’s Hospital proudly presents its annual musical performance, Into the Woods, at the historic Palace Theatre March 7-9, 2025. This beloved event features talented performers of all ages, with auditions open to everyone and supports the Hospice and Palliative Care program.

Into the Woods takes everyone’s favorite storybook characters and brings them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece… and a rare modern classic. The Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching.

The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone’s wish is granted, but happily ever after isn’t the end, it’s only the beginning.
