Newly appointed UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Joel Madden has taken a trip to the Central African Republic.
The Good Charlotte vocalist was there, touring with brother Benji, to observe the conditions the people there are living in, in particular to get a first hand account of the damage caused by unsafe drinking water.
‘Every day, children in CAR are dying from preventable diseases caused by a lack of safe water,’ said Madden. ‘The good news is that we can stop this now.’
Join Joel Madden in supporting UNICEF’s work and get along to the UNICEF 2008 Beverly Hills Snowflake Lighting ceremony, on November 22, hosted by Madden and Nicole Richie.
