Legacy Gala Celebrates Dyslexia Education and Student Success

A Paradise Valley gala supports The Jones-Gordon School’s mission to empower students with dyslexia through specialized education.

The Jones-Gordon School will gather families, educators, and supporters on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Mountain Shadows Resort for its Legacy Gala—an evening dedicated to students who learn differently and the community that stands behind them.

By attending, you’re supporting Arizona’s only school built specifically for high-achieving students with dyslexia and related learning differences. The gala marks 15 years of progress powered by literacy, evidence-based instruction, and belief in what students can achieve when learning is designed for them. Funds raised help sustain programs and services that transform confidence, outcomes, and futures.

The night also recognizes advocacy and lived experience, with Henry Winkler sharing his personal journey with dyslexia and receiving the school’s Legacy Award—underscoring how understanding and support can shape a lifetime.

Be part of the evening that champions learning differences and lasting opportunity.

The Jones-Gordon School’s Legacy Gala lands Friday, March 6, at Mountain Shadows Resort, bringing together families, educators, and supporters to mark 15 years of work with students who learn differently, especially those with dyslexia.

The evening’s keynote comes from Henry Winkler, whose own experience with dyslexia has shaped much of his advocacy off-screen. Best known for his long career in film, television, and publishing, Winkler has also spent decades speaking openly about how learning differences influenced his path. During the event, students will present him with the Jones-Gordon Foundation Legacy Award.
