Leja Bulela works to support communities in the Democratic Republic of Congo through healthcare, education, and cultural connection. Their annual LB33 Conference helps raise funds and bring people together to support these efforts.

The LB33 Conference will take place from June 26–28, 2026, at the Hyatt Place Columbus/OSU in Columbus, Ohio. This three-day event includes a cultural night, a full conference with speakers, and a fundraising gala. The weekend focuses on celebrating Congolese culture while supporting important programs like healthcare services and education initiatives.

As we gather in Columbus, a city renowned for its innovation and community, we celebrate the enduring strength of the Congolese spirit. This year’s theme, The Heart of Africa: Honoring Congo’s Legacy. Celebrating Our Impact. Inspiring Care for Our Future, serves as both a tribute to our roots in the Grand Kasai region and a roadmap for our continued humanitarian work.
