Lindsay Lohan’s dad Michael has blasted reports he has a difficult relationship with his daughter, insisting they enjoy spending time together.
A recent report claimed the Mean Girls actress was annoyed when her dad turned up to a charity event she attended last weekend (15-16Aug09) and made her feel uncomfortable by following her around the party. But Michael insists he maintains a good relationship with his daughter, who was happy to see him. He tells RadarOnline.com, “Lindsay called me up and invited me to come to the event. She told me she was going to the event and when she saw me, I walked up and kissed her and we walked over to a corner and sat down at a table together. We were happy to see each other.” Lohan’s estranged father has been extremely critical of her relationship with on/off girlfriend Samantha Ronson in the past, but he recently admitted that he was “wrong” to criticise the pair and now supports their romance.
