After-school educational and literacy programs help equip students for academic success. When ex-Miami Dolphin’s linebacker, Twan Russell, and his late mother saw this need in Southern Florida, they launched Russell Education Foundation.

REF currently provides quality after school and summer learning services for kindergarten – 5th-grade students through Russell Reading Rooms for over 1,000 children in 11 locations throughout Broward and Miami-Dade counties annually.

An annual golf tournament is held to support the Russell Education Foundation. This year’s tournament will be held June 10 at Jacaranda Golf and Country Club in Plantation, Florida. The start time is 8:00 am EST.
