Mayor of Southwark at Costcutter for diabetes awareness event

The Mayor of Southwark, Cllr Eliza Mann, came to Costcutter in Southwark Bridge Road on Thursday for an awareness and fundraising event in aid
of her mayoral charity Diabetes UK. The event was hosted by Sunstar Group which opened the combined convenience store and post office in the MyBaSE1 development last summer.
There was music, facepainting, and diabetic-friendly food at the event which was also attended by children from nearby .
