Malcolm McDowell, Albert Lee, Hal Sparks support needy kids for the holidays
On December 8thMalibu nonprofit, Safety Harbor Kids will host their 7thAnnual Spirit of Goodwill Holiday Party to benefit 250 orphans, foster and homeless children.
Supported by film and television stars including Malcolm McDowell and Sharon Stones Planet Hope Foundation, Safety Harbor Kids improves the lives of disadvantaged youth through education in the areas of College, Career, Music and the Arts.
The event, held at Dukes in Malibu, will feature musical guests Grammy winner Albert Lee, Santana lead vocalist, Andy Vargas, Little Feat guitarist Fred Tackett and Quincy Jones worldwide sensation, Blush.Tesla will have a model S on display.
With motivation speakers including radio personality, Hal Sparks, the children will be treated to enrichment activities including music and art lessons, toy making, college and career planning, foreign language workshop and science lab.After the activities the children will be treated to a holiday dinner with all the trimmings sponsored by Dukes.After dinner, each child will receive gifts and holiday stockings full of goodies and school supplies given by none other than Mr. and Mrs. Clause.
