The Salvation Army’s Carols in the Domain 2026: Christmas Songs That Give Hope

Sydney’s much-loved Christmas carols return with music, festive traditions and a chance to help Australians doing it tough.

Christmas carols bring people together through music, tradition and the spirit of giving. But for Australians experiencing homelessness, financial hardship or crisis, the festive season can also be a time of uncertainty. The Salvation Army works year-round to provide practical support, including meals, safe accommodation and emergency assistance for people who need it most.

On Saturday, December 19, 2026, Sydney’s beloved Carols in the Domain returns, with The Salvation Army taking on the event’s official naming partnership. The long-running Christmas celebration invites people to share in the festive atmosphere while supporting Australians facing difficult circumstances.
