BASKETBALL: Roscommon High School is hosting a 3-on-3 Coed Mixer on Sept.
19. The Mixer is like a Gus Macker except that players register individually and change teams every round. The points that their team scores in a round go with each player. Four age divisions are planned (grades 4-6 grades 7-9 grades 10-12 and adult) with prizes going to the first, second, and third place individuals at the end of each tournament. Proceeds go to the Roscommon County Cancer Society and the Roscommon basketball programs. Call (989) 275-1035 or (989) 488-7938 for details. BLOOPERBALL: The 35th annual Bay City/Bay County Benefit Blooperball and Women’s Softball Tournament for Charity is slated for Sept. 11-13 at DeFoe Park.
