There are children all over the world suffering from conditions that require hospital stays, often for long periods of time. Many of these children have to go through painful symptoms and even live knowing that any day could be their last. What makes this even more difficult is the stress that paying for treatments can put on the whole family. Necessary treatments often are impossible to afford for families that are already struggling financially. This leaves some children suffering from conditions that could otherwise be managed or even cured. Many lives could be saved if all families were provided with the financial assistance they need.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is helping to ensure that a family’s financial status will never be a barrier to getting treatment for their child. The Miracles on the Bay Gala will raise money to go towards saving children’s lives and taking the financial burden off of their families.
