To combat the challenges posed by dementia, it is crucial to bring moments of joy and brightness into the lives of those affected by it. While dementia may take away memories, it cannot diminish the power of love. 

Join us for an extraordinary evening as Dementia Hawkes Bay presents its grandest event, the Summerset Dementia Hawkes Bay Matariki Charity Ball and Auction. This remarkable initiative aims to raise funds for the Hawke’s Bay community, offering support and services to individuals living with dementia and their families. It is an opportunity to come together, celebrate, and make a positive impact on the lives of those affected by this condition.

In New Zealand, a significant majority of adult New Zealanders, approximately two-thirds of the community, have had personal encounters or experiences related to dementia. Programs and Foundations like Dementia Hawkes Bay reminds us to pay more attention to our aging loved ones, especially once we start noticing changes in their behaviors.

This is going to be our biggest event yet!!!! We are so excited to have partnered with Summerset to bring the first ever Summerset Dementia Hawkes Bay Matariki Charity Ball and Auction. We will have celebrity guest speaker Wendyl Nissen, an exciting charity auction and live band Badger in the amazing Toitoi Assembly Ballroom. All while enjoying a two course seated dinner, glass of bubbles on arrival, and the fun and grandeur of the night.
