Get a taste of Japan without leaving Australia! On September 19–20, experience a truly special event as Tani Tei En opens its doors to the public once again. Held only once every two years, the Tani Tei En Open Garden is a chance for you to leave all your stress behind as you explore 11 acres of tranquil gardens, lush rainforest, a beautifully crafted Japanese teahouse, and a serene lake. Feel free to bring your little ones as there will be kid-friendly activities such as an animal scavenger hunt, face painting and plant potting. There will also be food and drinks stalls to keep everyone energized, as well as plant stalls should you wish to take home a new leafy companion. Proceeds raised will support Currumbin Wildlife Hospital which rescues and rehabilitates sick, injured, and orphaned Australian wildlife, and Southern Beaches Community Garden, a community initiative promoting sustainable gardening and greener spaces.
