4WD enthusiasts start revving those engines&hellip the Surf to Turf Variety 4WD Experience is beckoning.
Founded by Variety, the Children’s Charity, the Surf to Turf helps like minded 4WD owners turn their off-road fantasies into reality while raising much needed funds for kids in need. Variety’s Motoring Events Manager, Stuart Telfer says, “The Variety 4WD Experience is a perfect holiday for couples as they offer a perfect balance of real life adventure with resort style accommodation and fine dining so participants don’t have to rough it. “Plus the time on the road together gives couples a real chance to re-connect, away from the stresses of their busy lives.” Spanning over six days and 1,253 kilometres, this action-packed adventure provides 4WD drivers with a chance to take the ‘road less travelled’ onto bush tracks, sand dunes, fire trails and country dirt roads. Participants will see Australia’s stunning contrasts from craggy mountain tracks to majestic ocean views, with overnight stays in Narooma, Thredbo, Omeo, Mount Beauty, Cooma and Canberra. The Surf to Turf is priced at $6,300 for two including a $3,000 fully tax deductible donation to Variety, to purchase urgently needed equipment for Australia’s special needs children.
Participants are encouraged to raise the full amount in advance of the Surf to Turf Experience and offer a host of suggestions for easy fund raising activities.
