The Veterans VA5K is a chance for you to make a real difference in the lives of these brave individuals and their loved ones.

On Sunday, November 3, 2024, the 9th annual Veterans VA5K will take place at the Lexington VA Health Care System Franklin R. Sousley Campus. Whether you’re joining in person or participating virtually, this event is more than just a race—it’s a powerful way to give back to those who have given so much.

Proceeds from the race will benefit the Lexington VA Medical Center Volunteer Program and the Lexington Fisher House, which provides a comforting home away from home for the families of veterans receiving treatment. Your participation in the Veterans VA5K helps ensure that veterans and their families receive the care, comfort, and support they deserve

Join us for the 9th annual Veterans VA5K on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at 1pm in Lexington.

Our in-person event will take place at the Lexington VA Health Care System Franklin R. Sousley Campus. We will also have a virtual option for those who can’t join us in person on November 3rd.

Our race will benefit the Lexington VA Medical Center Volunteer Program and the Lexington Fisher House, which provides lodging for the families of veterans being treated at the medical center. The Lexington Division of Community Corrections and Columbia Gas of Kentucky and its NiVets employee resource group are presenting and coordinating sponsors of the event.
