Now in its 18th year, the Balmoral Swim is a series of swimming events held on Sydney’s Lower North Shore.The Children’s Cancer Institute Australia, since its inception in 1984, has worked to develop cancer treatment and diagnosis techniques for children.
The Balmoral Swim is a community supported event, the local Balmoral Beach Club organises it in conjunction with volunteer support, the course is laid by the local HMAS Penguin, and Mosman Council is an active supporter.
Corporate sponsorship is a major component, this year’s target is to attract $40 000 of corporate sponsorship.
The Balmoral Swim for The Children’s Cancer Institute of Australia will be held on March 18.
