JRDF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International) welcomes 2013 with a lot of good news. In their Path to a Cure January issue, they also announced their new partnership with Tandem Diabetes Care to develop a world-first dual-chamber infusion pump for the management of type 1 diabetes.
One of their largest fundraising events – the Ride to Cure Diabetes which is now on its10th year, the Ride brought over 350 participants to the Barossa Valley for a cycling challenge and earning over $1 million as a result. One of the events missions is to raise money needed to fund research for better treatments and a cure for diabetes.
