Previews have opened in New York City for the December auction of a collection of Dick Clark's celebrity memorabilia. Included is the microphone that Dick Clark used in his first American Bandstand show in 1956.

The microphone is valued between $10,000 and $100,000 dollars.

Also being auctioned off is Michael Jackson's famed single sequined glove. Clark will also be parting with Elton John's famous red and yellow boots.

Other items include a guitar used by Paul McCartney when he was with the Beatles.

All proceeds will go to charity and the auction is a no reserve auction which means that the items will be sold to the highest bidder regardless of price. A large portion of the proceeds will benefit the T.J. Martell Foundation which was founded by the music industry to fight cancer and AIDS.
