Dick Clark Auctions 50 Years Celebrity Items

Dick Clark will be auctioning off over 50 years of celebrity items he has collected including Michael Jackson’s sequined glove.

Previews have opened in New York City for the December auction of a collection of Dick Clark’s celebrity memorabilia. Included is the microphone that Dick Clark used in his first American Bandstand show in 1956.
The microphone is valued between $10,000 and $100,000 dollars.
Also being auctioned off is Michael Jackson’s famed single sequined glove. Clark will also be parting with Elton John’s famous red and yellow boots.
Other items include a guitar used by Paul McCartney when he was with the Beatles.
All proceeds will go to charity and the auction is a no reserve auction which means that the items will be sold to the highest bidder regardless of price. A large portion of the proceeds will benefit the T.J. Martell Foundation which was founded by the music industry to fight cancer and AIDS.
