Elton John Aids Foundation Oscar Viewing Party 2012

The 20^thAnnual Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Viewing Party raised a staggering $5 million for the fight against AIDS while hosting an evening of entertainment for a good cause.

Aside from announcing the who’s who of Hollywood, there were live auction and performance by Foster the People and the evening continued with food and drinks from Godiva Chocolates to CIROC Vodka. Everyone was on the edge of their seats while being entertained by speeches and live auction.

There was an interesting bidding war between Katy Perry and Steven Tisch the reason why Elton John AIDS Foundation was able to raise extra money for HIV/AIDS. Although Steven Tisch outbid Katy Perry with his final bid of $80,000, they agreed to divide the auction lot for $100,000 or $50,000 each.

Celebrity guests that were in the party of the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Viewing Party included Katy Perry, Steven Tisch, Gwen Stefani, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens and more.
