International Volunteers Day

Today is International Volunteers Day

Roy Stacey has been fighting fires near Griffith, N.S.W. for sixty of his eighty-six years…a volunteer firefighter….and he’s still volunteering.
Countless nameless volunteers in Melbourne, throughout Australia are volunteers, working without reward…with the sole purpose of helping others.
Australia has 6.3 million volunteers keeping our country going.

We send them all our respect and appreciation.
Today is their special day…we say Thankyou for every day, every time.
Volunteers are always needed, think of joining an organization..you’ll get training, be with like-minded people and make a difference.
