Richard Branson has been campaigning for the London Marathon charities, and is encouraging athletes gearing up for the challenge.
Branson will be leading a team of a hundred runners in the marathon.
It’s his first marathon and realising how grueling it can be, Branson says he ‘Now [has] so much respect for the tens of thousand of fundraisers who run the marathon every year.’
Ex-Oasis drummer Alan White, Ben Shephard, Michel Roux, Charlie Webster and Lee Latchford-Evans are just some of the other recognisable names participating in this year’s event.
The London Marathon is on 25 April.
