Garden Bee Walk: A Bee-utiful Garden Stroll

Get your steps in and walk into the wonderful world of bees.

Did you know that the Ancient Egyptians believed that bees were the tears of the Sun God, Ra? Or that bees have been in existence for more than 100 million years? Are you aware that they have two stomachs and five eyes? Learn more about the history of bees, their anatomy, and more importantly their contribution to the planet, when you join the Knoll Gardens Foundation’s Garden Bee Walk. Happening on July 11, let Rowena Jecock, Knoll Gardens bumblebee surveyor, and chair of the Knoll Gardens Foundation, introduce you to the captivating world of bees. Proceeds raised from this event will go to Knoll Gardens Foundation, an organization who continuously studies all the plants and wildlife in the area to better understand the “principles and processes that create a healthy and biodiverse garden environment” and share it to the rest of the community.
