Make August 1 a Saturday to remember for the whole family (yes, even your pups!) at St Helena Hospice’s Colchester Community Fun Day at Mile End Recreation Ground. From an inflatable village and ice cream vans for the little ones to a classic car show and live entertainment for the young at heart, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Four-legged family members can even join the fun by taking part in the Fun Day Dog Show! Proceeds from the event will support St Helena Hospice as it continues to provide compassionate care and support for patients with life-limiting illness in north east Essex, as well as their families, friends, and carers.

This August, join us for a fun-filled day with your friends and family! Expect an inflatable village including bouncy castles, ice cream vans, licensed bar, exciting games, a variety of food stalls and sweet treats, face painting, entertainment, a Classic Car Show and everything else you’d want from a fantastic summer fete – plus the return of the Fun Day Dog Show! There will be plenty for all ages to do, see, and enjoy.

People have used face painting for more than 10,000 years in religious rituals and to signify tribal identity. Today, it’s one of the most-loved attractions at parties and community events. This August 1, join the fun and get your face painted at St Helena Hospice’s Colchester Community Fun Day!
