Madonna Raises $11m in Funds

Madonna has garnered $11 million in funds for charity from Brazilian millionaires.

The artist was in Brazil to solicit donations for a new project, the children's charity Success for Kids.

The material girl also pledged to match contributions up to $150 000 made to Raising Malawi, last week.

Madonna managed to talk the country's richest man, Eike Batista, into donating $7 million of the $11 million in funds she was pledged.
