Olivia Wilde Teamed Up With American Apparel For Haiti

Olivia Wilde partners with American Apparel for Haiti

Combining her love for fashion and her love for Haiti, Olivia Wilde has joined with American Apparel to assist in rebuilding Haiti Like Jared Leto, Wilde used to visit the devastated country as a child with her parents, and her passion that lead her to be one of the first celebrity volunteers to travel to Haiti after the earthquake in 2010. Since then, Olivia has founded a charity called “Campaign Happiness”, which assisted the locals rebuild. Now, by partnering with American Apparel, she created a bag that benefits the Academy for Peace and Justice, a secondary school in Port-au-Prince. This Bag is made from vintage army canvas, antique brass hardware, and pebbled leather trim which converts from a cross-body messenger into a backpack. Wilde told Vogue magazine, Ive been trying to figure out how to combine conscious commerce with my love for fashion. I wear American Apparels sweatshirts every day and live in their maxi dresses. And the owners are good people!

Check out American Apparel’s website to check out the bag and their other items as well.
