Orlando Bloom Receives Honorary University Degree

Orlando Bloom Honorary Degree

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom's family were on hand to congratulate the actor on receiving an honorary degree from the University of Kent.

The 33-year-old took part in a ceremony, alongside other graduates, at Canterbury Cathedral, in his home town.

'I have lived near the university so it's like my playground. It's a huge, huge honor and I feel chuffed, as does my mothernobody more than my mother,' he said.

Before receiving the honorary degree, Orland Bloom had completed a degree, but was unable to attend the ceremony because of his work on The Lord of the Rings.
