Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom’s family were on hand to congratulate the actor on receiving an honorary degree from the University of Kent.
The 33-year-old took part in a ceremony, alongside other graduates, at Canterbury Cathedral, in his home town.
‘I have lived near the university so it’s like my playground. It’s a huge, huge honor and I feel chuffed, as does my mothernobody more than my mother,’ he said.
Before receiving the honorary degree, Orland Bloom had completed a degree, but was unable to attend the ceremony because of his work on The Lord of the Rings.
