The Women's Musical Leadership Online Project (WMLOP) presents their second online event, Women leading Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in Music Education and the Music Industries (4 June 2021).

Program:

11am-1pm: Panel Discussion of Women leading Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in Music Education and the Music Industries

This online panel will bring together four women leaders who have led Equality, Diversity and Inclusion within music education and/or the music industries.

Invited speakers: Alice Farnham (Women Conductors); Dame Evelyn Glennie (Teach the World to Listen); Chi-chi Nwanoku (Chineke! Foundation); Susan Wollenberg (University of Oxford)

1-2pm: Lunch Break

2-4pm: Afternoon Session with Gabriella Di Laccio (Donne Women in Music)

Gabriella Di Laccio considers her ground-breaking work leading gender equality in music through her work as founder and curator of Donne Women in Music

4-4.15pm: Afternoon Break

4.15-4.45pm: Concert Eleanor Kelly (Classical Guitar)

Classical guitarist, Eleanor Kelly, presents a short programme of music composed by women.
