Cycle Croatia 2024

Cycle for compassion.

Hospice care is a specialized type of care that focuses on providing comfort and support to individuals who are facing a life-limiting illness. Hospice care is designed to help patients and their families manage pain and symptoms, while also addressing their emotional, spiritual, and social needs. This type of care is typically provided in a patient’s home, but can also be provided in a hospice facility or hospital. Hospice care is based on the principles of palliative care, which emphasizes quality of life and aims to provide patients with a dignified and peaceful end-of-life experience. Hospice care is often provided by a team of professionals, including doctors, nurses, social workers, and spiritual advisors, who work together to provide compassionate care to patients and their families.

Many hospice organizations around the world are dedicated to providing compassionate care to patients and families in need. One such organization is St. Helena Hospice, a UK-based charity that provides hospice care and support services to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses.

As part of their fundraising efforts, St. Helena Hospice hosts a variety of events throughout the year to raise awareness and funds for their cause. One of their upcoming events is the Cycle Croatia 2024, an exciting cycling challenge through the stunning landscapes of Croatia. Participants in the event will have the opportunity to challenge themselves while also raising vital funds to support the important work of St. Helena Hospice.

Enjoy a breath of sea air on this three day cycle along the Dalmation coast of Croatia.

Pedal over 300km through a dramatic canyon, on peaceful roads through mountains, through the vineyard-ridden wine growing region of Dingač and alongside the beautiful turquoise sea before ending at Dubrovnik’s medieval fortress all while raising money for your local hospice.

Saddles will be mounted in the seaside city of Split and then you’ll follow the coastline south east, stopping in Markarsa then riding across the Adriatic island of Hvar before ending in Dubrovnik.
