ZAGREB, CROATIA – The International Womens Club is an organisation which gathers 150 members from over 30 countries and is the organiser of this
years International Food Festival. The culinary manifestation which includes some 20 best national cuisines will take place this Saturday at the HAZU Gliptoteka, the International Womens Club Zagreb announces. The International Womens Club Zagreb announced that many prominent guests from the world of culinary, diplomacy and economy are expected at the festival, all with the goal of raising funds for the help of the Rasa nursing home in Istria. Best Croatian chefs will do the cooking Every year, The International Womens Club Zagreb organises three big charity events: the Christmas Bazaar, the Food Festival and the Gala Ball, with donations welcome. Every festivalgoer will be able to taste and buy dishes and drinks from various parts of the world and observe demonstrations of six most famous Croatian chefs under the reins of Mr. Ivica Struml, who headed the Croatian culinary team in the USA two years ago at the presentation of Croatian culinary delicacies. Apart from Struml, other chefs include Zdenko Lupic, Robert Slogar, Miroslav Dolovcak, Vedran Habel and Rene Bakalovic. Apart from tasty food, cocktails will also be prepared, with cocktail master Vjenceslav Mladic Kishoni in charge. Several famous Croatian wine makers and oil makers, like Kozlovic, Matosevic and Blic, will also offer a range of products for degustation and sale. A rich accompanying programme was also prepared which includes live music and a corned designed for children. There is no ticket fee for the festival. The International Womens Club Zagreb and charity
The International Womens Club Zagreb is a non-profit organisation which has been acting in Zagreb for the past 15 years. It gathers mostly foreign women, wives of diplomats or heads of foreign companies, foreigners married to Croats or Croatian women who spent the major part of their lives abroad.
