The Premier’s Multicultural Gala Dinner 2026 will bring people from across Victoria together for an evening celebrating the rich cultural heritage and contributions of the state’s multicultural and multifaith communities. Hosted by Victorian Multicultural Commission, with Premier Jacinta Allan, Minister for Multicultural and Multifaith Victoria Ingrid Stitt, and VMC Chairperson Vivienne Nguyen, the gala will take place on Saturday, 22 August 2026, from 5:30 PM at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This year’s theme, Stories of Us, celebrates the unique journeys, ancestry, and migration stories that have shaped Victoria’s diverse communities and collective identity. Guests will enjoy a three-course shared meal with drinks, live cultural performances, inspiring speeches, and opportunities to connect with people from across the state. Attendees are encouraged to wear formal attire or traditional cultural dress, highlighting the diversity and pride of Victoria’s multicultural communities.
