The ADRA Australia works with communities in Australia and around the world to support people experiencing poverty, hardship, and crisis.

Each October, ADRA Australia runs the ADRA Appeal, an annual fundraising campaign supporting local community projects and life-changing initiatives. The campaign provides Australians with opportunities to contribute to projects both in their own communities and internationally. A key part of the 2026 Appeal is the ADRA Community Projects Offering, which will take place in Adventist Churches across Australia on Saturday, 3 October 2026.

The Appeal encourages Australians to “Love Thy Neighbour” by helping people experiencing financial hardship access essential groceries and food. These forms of practical assistance can help ease the financial pressure faced by households and provide people with the support they need while working toward greater stability.

Beyond the Community Projects Offering, supporters can participate in various community activities throughout October to raise funds and contribute to ADRA’s projects. The campaign provides an opportunity for individuals and communities to turn generosity into practical support, helping people in need both locally and around the world.
