RSL LifeCare provides free support and services to veterans and their families, helping them navigate the challenges that can arise during and after their military service. Its services include career transition support, counselling, financial assistance, DVA claims assistance, housing support, and wellbeing services.
The 2026 Poppy Ball will take place on Saturday, 5 December 2026, aboard HMAS Adelaide (III) at Garden Island, Woolloomooloo, Sydney. As RSL LifeCare’s premier fundraising gala, the Poppy Ball combines an evening of entertainment, generosity, and remembrance with an important purpose: all proceeds support RSL LifeCare’s services for veterans and their families.
The event draws inspiration from the poppy, a powerful symbol associated with Australia’s military history and remembrance. Guests will come together to recognize the service and sacrifice of Australian veterans while helping provide support to those who may need assistance after leaving the Australian Defence Force. Through its programs, RSL LifeCare helps veterans and their families access practical resources and guidance as they transition from military to civilian life. The Poppy Ball provides an opportunity for supporters to contribute directly to this work while taking part in a memorable evening aboard one of Australia’s naval vessels.
