Making a Difference Charity Gala 2026 | Compass Community Care

Join Compass Community Care’s inaugural Making a Difference Charity Gala on October 10, 2026, supporting local families experiencing food insecurity and cost-of-living hardship.

Food insecurity and cost-of-living pressures can make it difficult for individuals and families to afford basic necessities. Community food programs can provide immediate practical assistance while helping people navigate periods of financial hardship with dignity.

Compass Community Care supports people and families experiencing hardship in Melbourne’s south-east. Through its community food programs, the organization provides practical assistance to local residents who are struggling with food insecurity and the rising cost of living. The Making a Difference Charity Gala 2026 will take place on Saturday, 10 October 2026, from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM at Sandy by the Bay, Trevor Barker Beach Oval, Beach Road, Sandringham.

As Compass Community Care’s inaugural gala, the event will bring together local business leaders, sporting networks, community organizations, and supporters to respond to growing food insecurity and cost-of-living hardship across Melbourne’s south-east. Guests will enjoy a three-course dinner, entertainment, live auction, and impact stories highlighting the difference community support can make.

Importantly, every dollar raised on the night will go directly toward practical support for local individuals and families through Compass Community Care’s Community Food Pantry, Schools Community Food Pantry, and Mobile Food Pantry programs. These programs operate across Glen Eira, Kingston, Bayside, and Monash, helping provide food and essential assistance to people experiencing financial hardship.

Tables of 10 are available for $2,500, providing businesses and community groups with an opportunity to attend together while contributing directly to local food relief efforts. The Making a Difference Charity Gala offers more than an evening of dining and entertainment—it is an opportunity to turn generosity into practical support for people facing hardship in Melbourne’s south-east.

Join here and help make a difference for local individuals and families experiencing food insecurity and cost-of-living hardship.
