Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) is a rare and complex neurological condition that can significantly affect movement and other functions, creating challenges for people living with the condition as well as their families and carers. Greater awareness, research, and access to appropriate support can help improve understanding and care for people affected by MSA.
MSA Australia supports Australians living with Multiple System Atrophy as well as the families and carers who support them. The organisation works to raise awareness, support research, and provide education that can help healthcare professionals recognise MSA earlier.
The MSA Australia Long Lunch 2026 will take place on Saturday, 31 October 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at RACV Cape Schanck Resort. The Long Lunch will bring together people affected by MSA, supporters, families, carers, and members of the wider community for an afternoon of food, conversation, and fundraising.
MSA affects approximately 2,500 Australians, yet its rarity and complexity can make the condition difficult to recognise and understand. The event aims to help start important conversations around MSA and increase awareness within the community. Funds raised through the Long Lunch will support research into MSA, helping work toward better understanding and improved awareness of the condition. Funding will also contribute to education that can help GPs and specialists recognise MSA sooner.
Importantly, funds raised will also provide support for Australians living with MSA and the families and carers beside them, helping ensure people affected by the condition have access to support when they need it. The MSA Australia Long Lunch is more than an afternoon of good food and company—it is an opportunity to bring the MSA community together, raise awareness, support research, and help create a future where no one has to face MSA alone.
Join here for the MSA Australia Long Lunch on October 31, 2026, and help support research, awareness, and people living with Multiple System Atrophy.

MSA (Multiple System Atrophy) is a rare, complex neurological condition that affects 2,500 Australians.
Every seat you buy helps fund the research working toward better awareness, and the education that helps GPs and specialists recognise MSA sooner. It also goes straight to the people who need it right now: the Australians living with MSA, and the families and carers standing beside them, often without much support at all.
Our Long Lunch is here to bring the community together and start the conversation around Multiple System Atrophy and create a future where no one has to face MSA alone.
