The Wollongong Gala 2026 will take place on Saturday, 17 October 2026, from 6:30 PM at the WIN Entertainment Centre in Wollongong. As Talk2mebro’s major fundraising event for the Illawarra region, the gala will bring the community together for an evening focused on raising funds and awareness for suicide prevention.
Guests will step into the glamour of the Roaring Twenties with a spectacular Gatsby-themed evening, combining an elegant atmosphere with an important community cause. Funds raised through the event will directly support Talk2mebro’s work across the Illawarra region and surrounding communities. This includes programs delivered through local councils, free community events, sporting clubs, schools, and businesses.
Fundraising will also help support the training of additional facilitators and expand mental health education, allowing Talk2mebro to reach more people throughout the region. The Wollongong Gala provides an opportunity for the community to come together in an atmosphere of celebration while contributing to suicide prevention and mental health education.
