Domestic and family violence continues to affect women, children and families across Australia, highlighting the importance of community awareness, support and action. In Perth, Starick works with women and children impacted by domestic and family violence, helping them access support and work towards safer futures.
On Wednesday, 25 November 2026, the community is invited to join the 36th March Against Domestic and Family Violence at Forest Place in Perth City, from 10:00 am. The event forms part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence, an international campaign that brings attention to violence against women and encourages collective action to address it.
Organised by Starick, a Western Australian charity supporting women and children affected by family and domestic violence, the march provides an opportunity for community members to stand together and show their commitment to a future free from violence.
Community participation helps keep this important issue visible and reinforces the message that preventing domestic and family violence requires awareness, support and action from across society. Find the official event information here.
