Pregnancy Loss Australia (formerly the Teddy Love Club) is a national organisation providing support and services to bereaved families who have suffered the loss of their baby or babies from miscarriage, stillbirth, termination for foetal abnormality and neo-natal loss.
On May 5th, these families will be joined by their friends and supporters, and the general public, and will walk in memory of all babies whose lives have been lost.
The event, now in its fifth year, is expected to attract close to 400 people walking between two and six kilometres around Peace Park in North Adelaide.
A highlight of the day will be the special memorial balloon release, where 400 balloons will be released to honour just some of the many babies who pass away each year.
A number of other activities are planned for the day including entertainment for both adults and families, a sausage sizzle and other delicious treats, and a range of market stalls.
