12 The third annual “ Crusin’ for Charity” Car, Truck and Bike Show will be 9 a. m.- 3 p. m. on Sept. 12 on the parking lot of Faith Baptist Church, 3001 Southwest Parkway. The event benefits Faith Mission. The day will begin at 8: 30 a. m. with a 75- to 100mile motorcycle ride. Men of Grace from Pontiac, Mich., and local performers will provide live music, and the Muleskinners of Iowa Park will cook and serve beans. Preregistration for the show is $ 15 and must be postmarked by Sept. 5 registration the day of the show is $ 20. The bike ride fee is $ 20, but owners can register for both the bike ride and show for $ 35. For more information, call 766- 0705. Fundraiser for CWJC is Saturday Red River Harley Davidson will host a fundraiser for the Christian Women’s Job Corps from 10: 45 a. m.- 3 p. m. Saturday. Hot dogs and chips will be served for free, but donations will be accepted. The CWJC will offer their cookbooks for $ 10. Funds raised will pay for the curriculum and school supplies for the women taking the free 14week training program in basic life and job skills the CWJC will offer. Of the 22 students, 13 will be taking their GED tests, and part of the money raised will go toward the GED fees for these women.
