FLEA MARKET: The Avon Baptist Church will hold a flea market from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

CHARITY GUILD THRIFT STORE: Open 10 a.m. through 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday at 501 Main St., Brockton. Call 508-583-5280. THRIFT SHOP: Sacred Heart Thrift Shop, 340 Centre St., Middleboro, is open Wednesdays 1 to 4 p.m., Thursdays 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. No TVs or computers. THRIFT SHOPPE: The Good Neighbor Thrift Shoppe at United Methodist Church, 503 South Ave., Whitman, is open every Monday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and every second Saturday each month. Items include appliances, clothing, bric-a-brac, records, tapes, CDs, adult and children’s books, dishes, pictures, toys, games and clothing. Donations are welcome. FARMERS MARKETS: The Middleboro Farmers Market runs Saturdays from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. until Oct. 31 on the Middleboro Town Hall lawn off Route 105. QUILT SHOW: The Silver City Quilt Guild is holding its second annual Quilt Show on Sept. 19-20 at the Benjamin A. Friedman Middle School, 500 Norton Ave., Taunton. In addition to the many beautiful quilts on display made by guild members, there will be an award-winning quilt raffle, 28 raffle baskets, vendors and more. Admission is $5 at the door. The show runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
