The viewing will take place on Saturday, September 5, at HorseWorld’s Bristol premises, from 12.30pm.
Sasha Holden, HorseWorld’s head of re-homing, said: “We have a huge number of wonderful horses and ponies in our care, including gentle and kind companions who can’t be ridden for various reasons but who are desperate to be loved. The charity also has a significant number of quality riding horses and ponies. One pony desperate for the right home is Cariad. The 12.2hh grey mare was part of a feral herd rescued by HorseWorld in 2004. She has been fully backed to be ridden by HorseWorld’s equine training team, loves to learn new things and is showing huge potential to be a Pony Club pony. Sasha is convinced that the right person can be found for Cariad. “She is an amazing pony, really keen to learn and very forward-going. The problem is that she is wary of new riders so she doesn’t make a good first impression. When we find her an experienced and competent rider who is sympathetic but also persistent, I am sure that we will have a winning team on our hands.” HorseWorld retains legal ownership of every horse or pony and each animal is re-homed on a loan basis, subject to regular home checks to ensure their continued welfare.
HorseWorld is responsible for the care of nearly 500 equines, giving them the safe and happy futures they deserve, free from pain or neglect.
