Thousands of country music fans gathered in Crockettsville for the 2nd annual Halfway 2 Hazard Concert and Charity Trail Ride to benefit the Buckhorn
Children’s Center. Some fans came from as far as Wisconsin and Canada for the two-day event. The Charity Trail ride takes off at 10:00 A.M. Sunday. Participants will ride 40 miles on the East Kentucky Regional Trail System, through several counties. Riders are making a loop around Buckhorn Children’s Center before beginning the trail ride. All proceeds from this weekends events go to the Buckhorn Children’s Center. Last year, Chad Warrix and David Tolliver, along with hundreds of volunteers raised more than $100,000 for the charity.
