cities in 30 days on the “Drive Out Hunger” Tour(TM) collecting soup cans in support of Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief charity. The first 500 attendees to donate two cans of soup at each tour event will receive a complimentary slice of the restaurant’s new Stefanie’s Ultimate Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake(TM). Prior to the tour’s official start in Los Angeles on September 1, The Cheesecake Factory will kick off the “Drive Out Hunger” Tour on August 31 with a star-studded event at its headquarters in Calabasas Hills, Calif. featuring actor David Arquette who serves as Feeding America’s Entertainment Council Chairman. The kick-off event will also include a live performance by Interscope recording artist Tamar Kaprelian whose hit single, “New Day,” will serve as the tour anthem. “As one of America’s favorite restaurants, we believe it is important to support the communities that have supported us for so many years,” said David Overton, Founder of The Cheesecake Factory. “We are honored to continue our partnership with Feeding America and encourage our guests to join us in our drive to collect 100,000 cans of soup for our local food banks this September.” Event attendees who donate cans of soup will have their picture taken for the “Drive Out Hunger” Tour microsite. Pictures taken at the events will become part of a large mosaic image that will be revealed on October 1 at www.TheCheesecakeFactory.com/Share. As the tour comes to a close, all Cheesecake Factory restaurants nationwide will invite guests to support their local food bank with the “You Dine, We Donate(TM)” event.
