That title was short lived, because this week, UB announced yet another addition to their team: Billy Kopp. Despite going into Day 8 of the Main Event as one of the chip leaders, Kopp finished just short of the November Nine, in 12th place. As a consolation prize, Kopp walked away with $896,730. He also finished 8th in Event 15 at the WSOP for $71,115.
Kopp, known for his loose-aggressive style of play at the tables, joins Phil Hellmuth, Annie Duke, and Liv Boeree as part of Team UB. You can find him at the tables playing under the screen name “billy_kopp.”
