ERIC HASERTeric.hasertscripps.com Tim Luke, center and his partner Greg Strahm, right, greet friends and guests Jo, front, and Angel Munoz, of Jupiter, to their reception party at the Lighthouse Center of the Arts in Tequesta on Saturday. Luke, of the show ‘Cash in the Attic’ on HGTV, and Strahm, who both make their home in Hobe Sound, were married in Connecticut on Aug. 8. A cadre of family members, friends and business associates were on hand to join in the festivities, which included a “re-creation” of the spirited mother-son dance with Luke and his mother, Bonnie Luke, of Jupiter. “I told my wife that when our sons were old enough to dance with her, I’d just sit it out,” said Luke’s dad, Lauren Luke during the reception. The newly married pair greeted guests with leis as they entered the door and, during the evening, thanked all who had come to join them in their celebration. “I am incredibly overwhelmed by your support, and Greg is too, although I do all the talking,” said Luke, who is the host of HGTV’s “Cash in the Attic.” Luke added, “We’re married in five states and recognized in 11. And the wave is heading for the beach. Love is love regardless of who is it is.”
Strahm, 59 and Luke, 45, have been together for 15 years, both professionally and personally.
