This year’s Race For Life in Hull has been hailed a huge success after thousands of woman took part in the blazing sunshine to
raise cash for charity. The race began and ended at Costello Stadium in west Hull this morning. A total of 5,428 women took part, which exceeded expectations, and now the charity hopes a sum of £266,600 will be raised.
The winner was Laura Holmes, 27, of Brough, who completed the race in just under 18 minutes.
